Major updates | Say Allo!

Hi there!

We've learned a lot from users since we launched last November. After interviewing 100+ loyal users, we learned that BeeCanvas, in practice, is more than a canvas or a whiteboard. It is something greater, more encompassing, like a workspace or the common ground for a team.

We needed to convey this idea to the greater market so people would understand our core values and vision for the future when coming on board. After collaborating with experts (using our platform) we are thrilled to introduce our new product name, reflecting the future of our company, and even the future of work.

BeeCanvas is now Allo. It's not just renaming. We completely redesigned 121 interfaces and 47 core components based on user feedback. Let's see the biggest updates we've ever had.

Allo for Desktop

◦ Allo is now available for use with both Mac and Windows systems.        
◦ The Allo Desktop app is faster, reliable, and trustworthy.
◦ The Video Chat functions in the native format which is 200% stronger and we have fixed an issue in the app which was slowing it down
◦ Download Allo Desktop app now!

The new dashboard, canvas UX

◦ The Allo dashboard has been renewed entirely. You can now check the newly updated canvases, projects, and activities at a glance.
◦ The projects are sorted and identified on the sidebar on your left-hand side and you can move across projects with ease and quickly.
◦ You can rotate sticky notes and images. Managing, editing a variety of objects such as text and image is easier as the toolbar and UX functions have been improved.
◦ We plan to add a template builder. Then you will be able to easily build your templates and retrieve others’ templates. Don’t begin your work with an empty canvas.

Meet Allo backlinks(bi-directional links)

◦ You can now set up a link to any of the objects such as images and sticky notes.     ◦ Just type @ to link specific canvas and website, and select it you would like to link in the dropdown that appears.
◦ You can also easily create sub-canvases using this function.
◦ Design your canvases to be as interactive as you wish by using backlinks
